Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, paid a courtesy visit on Tuesday to the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, at his palace in Oyo Town.
Oba Olaoye shared details of the visit on Facebook, emphasizing that it was more than a formal exchange of royal pleasantries. He described it as a “meeting of minds and hearts,” focused on fostering unity, progress, and purposeful leadership for the prosperity of their people.
“We shared warm moments, profound reflections, and a collective vision for the future of our respective towns and our beloved Oyo State,” the Soun stated. “We are convinced that when our thrones work together, our people thrive.”
The monarch expressed hope that their encounter would mark the beginning of a new era of cooperation, growth, and lasting development in the region.
