The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, will officially launch the Chief Mrs. Grace Ihonvbere 60th Birthday Invitational Open on Friday evening, February 7, at the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja.
The 18-hole golf tournament marks the grand finale of a week-long celebration honoring the former Lady Captain of the club. The festivities have included a variety of events, such as a Caddies tournament, Veterans and Super Veterans competitions, and a Pros championship held on Thursday.
On Saturday, the focus will shift to the Men’s and Ladies’ Divisions 1 & 2, where participants with handicaps ranging from zero to 28 will compete for the winner’s trophy. The event celebrates Mrs. Ihonvbere’s contributions to the golfing community and her milestone birthday.
