A Nigerian footballer, Babatunde Ogundiran, currently stranded in Qatar, has appealed for urgent help to either revive his career or return home to Nigeria.
The wing back, who has been stuck in Qatar for over a year, said his hopes of securing a stable football contract have faded, leaving him frustrated and desperate.
Speaking to our reporter, Ogundiran described his experience in the Middle Eastern country as “hell,” revealing that surviving daily has become a struggle.
According to him, promises made by some agents who brought him to Qatar were never fulfilled, leaving him stranded with no clear path forward.
The footballer is now calling on the Nigerian government, football authorities, and kind-hearted individuals to step in and assist him before his situation worsens.
With his dream of playing professional football hanging in the balance, Ogundiran says all he wants now is a chance to either restart his career or safely return to his family back home.
