Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has retained the same starting XI for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe on Tuesday evening.
Chelle, who oversaw his first match as head coach in last Friday’s draw against Rwanda, has opted for consistency in his selection.
Victor Osimhen, who scored twice in the previous game to boost Nigeria’s qualification hopes, will once again lead the attack alongside Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.
In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi retain their spots, while Stanley Nwabali continues as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The defensive lineup remains unchanged, with Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, and captain William Troost-Ekong forming the backline.
The crucial encounter between Nigeria and Zimbabwe will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with kickoff set for 5 PM.
