Four popular Nigerian gospel singers lost their lives in a fatal accident along the Ikorodu/Sagamu Road in Ogun State.
The Ogun State Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okupe, identified the victims as Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, and Opeyemi Adesina.
According to Okupe, the singers—all from the same family—were in one of the vehicles involved in a collision and died instantly.
She expressed condolences to their families and urged drivers to avoid over-speeding to prevent such tragic incidents.
The Nigerian gospel music industry is in mourning, as the accident cut short the lives of these young artists in their prime.
