Zamfara Residents Hail Matawalle Over Bandit’s Death

Dr. Bello Matawalle, following the elimination of notorious bandit leader Dan Isuhu. They described the development as a major victory in the fight against insecurity in the state and the broader North-West region.

In a statement signed by its chairman, Engr. Muhammad Hussaini, the community attributed the success to Matawalle’s strategic directives, which have strengthened military operations against criminal groups, including the feared bandit kingpin, Bello Turji.

Dan Isuhu was infamous for leading kidnappings, killings, and other criminal activities across Tsafe, Gusau in Zamfara, and parts of Funtua LGA in Katsina State. His reign of terror had kept residents in constant fear for years.

“His death is considered a major breakthrough in the fight against insecurity in Zamfara,” Hussaini stated. “Dr. Matawalle has been instrumental in dismantling criminal networks and freeing communities from the grip of banditry.”

With Dan Isuhu eliminated, residents are hopeful that the military will soon capture Bello Turji, the most wanted terrorist in the region. Many believe his downfall would mark the beginning of lasting peace in Zamfara.

As military operations intensify, optimism grows that the years of deadly bandit attacks in the state may finally be coming to an end.
